Registration: 2023 Global Health Scholars - Undergraduate Program Online Information Session

The recording of the January 19 Information session will be posted on the Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Global Health Scholars – Undergraduates program page shortly.

The Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Global Health Scholars – Undergraduates program provides opportunities for Æ»¹ûÒùÔº undergraduate students to gain global health experience through hands-on involvement in global health research projects. Scholars carry out their assigned role on their designated local, Northern Canada or international global health research project during the summer. Each Scholar carries out their project under the mentorship and supervision of a Æ»¹ûÒùÔº faculty member. During the academic year, Global Health Scholars benefit from various training and networking opportunities organized by Global Health Programs (GHP). These include the Insight Nights seminar series organized specifically for undergraduate Global Health Scholars, the Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Summer Institutes in Global Health, GHP’s annual Global Health Night and other events and opportunities.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to watch the recording of our online information session for the 2023 Global Health Scholars – Undergraduate Program.

Æ»¹ûÒùÔº is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. Æ»¹ûÒùÔº honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
