MIGS is looking for an intern studying Public Health or specializing in infectious diseases arising from displacement in the context of mass atrocities or natural disasters

The Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) is looking for an聽intern studying Public Health or specializing in聽infectious diseases arising from displacement in the context of mass atrocities or natural disasters.聽

The intern would help Prof. Frank Chalk, Director of MIGS, to identify appropriate foundations and granting agencies to funs a study of the impact of mass atrocities on the spread of infectious diseases from the sites of crimes against humanity and genocide to distant countries via air, land or sea travel.

The successful applicant will possess excellent research and writing skills, a detail-颅oriented work style, have a demonstrated record of successful grant application and be available for meeting one hour each week. It is expected that the internship will require a commitment of 10 hours per week.
