From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to 苹果淫院 students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Biography: 

Dr. Marcel Behr is a clinician-scientist. He was the founding Director of the 苹果淫院 International TB Centre and led it from 2012 to 2018. He is Director of the 苹果淫院 Infectious Diseases Division and the 苹果淫院 Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity (苹果淫院-i4). Dr. Behr trained at the University of Toronto, Queen鈥檚, 苹果淫院 and Stanford. Dr. Behr鈥檚 work has helped clarify the natural history of TB, determined the basis of BCG attenuation, identified differences between closely related mycobacterial species and strains, and explained the molecular basis for the use of mycobacteria as immune adjuvants.
