My research focuses on how oncogenic activation can promote early breast cancer dissemination though disruption of the myoepithelial layer.
In collaboration with Prof. McCaffrey鈥檚 lab, we utilize genomic and lineage chasing approaches using oncogene-induced transgenic models in combination with reporter strains.
Our research provides further mechanisms underlying early cancer dissemination with identification of new biomarkers with clinical implication for treatment of breast cancer of early stage.
