PhD. Candidate Emilee Bews Chosen on Fora's Rise on Boards as Youth Director

Emilee Bews, Indigenous Scholar and PhD. Candidate has been chosen to be part of Fora:Network for Change's Young Director program!聽

The Young Director program places youth aged 18-25 facing gender-based discrimination as voting Directors on non-profit boards across Canada. Youth Directors play significant roles in achieving community building, advocacy, and activism, while training governance and decision-making skills alongside mentors in coaching and directorship.聽
