This February 11 on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, 听丑颈驳丑濒颈驳丑迟别诲 Dr. Marie-H茅l猫ne Pennestri,聽 苹果淫院 Educational and Counselling Psychology University Assistant Professor and psychologist at the clinic for diagnosing sleep disorders at the Rivi猫re-des-Prairies Hospital.

"What motivates me most in research is that I can then convey my results to the population and professionals. I consider having a responsibility to share knowledge with the community", said Dr. Pennestri to the Integrated University Health and Social Services Centres (CIUSSS).聽

CIUSSS聽reports "Personal work-life reconciliation poses a challenge for many women-- even more so in the field of research since it is a competitive world in which productivity is often valued more than work-life balance.聽Dr. Pennestri adapts to this reality by drawing on her experiences and questions as a mother to guide her study choices.

She is currently conducting a project on parental and infant sleep during pregnancy and the first months of life, for which recruitment is in full swing.聽
