Æ»¹ûÒùÔº researchers and PhD students interested in contributing written pieces to The Conversation Canada—in English or in French—are invited to participate in an in-person workshop on Thursday, March 30, from 11:00 to 12:30.

Editors from in Toronto and in Montreal will explain the mission of The Conversation, offer some background on how it helps academics with knowledge mobilization, and provide tips on how to pitch a great story idea. This is an interactive workshop; participants are encouraged to bring story ideas to discuss.

The Conversation is a daily online publication that delivers analysis and explanatory journalism from the academic community directly to the public. It’s a not-for-profit collaboration, where professional editors work directly with researchers to publish articles for a wide audience.

The workshop will take place in the James Administration Building, room 301.

Space is limited, so if you’d like to participate, don’t wait to sign up. Please send an email with your contact information, including your departmental affiliation, to: editorial.communications [at] mcgill.ca ()
