Did you know that only 7% of refugees worldwide are able to access higher education?

Are you interested in learning more about UNHCR鈥檚 15% by 2030 Global Pledge to expand refugee access and success in higher education and finding out what local action is already happening on campus to empower refugees?

Do you want to be involved in discussing how 苹果淫院 can improve its support refugees on campus?

Then join the event Empowering Refugees @ 苹果淫院 on Tuesday, March 26 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

Speakers include:

  • Manal Stulgaitis, UNHCR
  • Megan Bradley, Director of the 苹果淫院 Refugee Research Group (MRRG)
  • Emma Harden-Wolfson, Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education and former lead on the right to higher education at UNESCO IESALC
  • and Current Refugee Students at 苹果淫院 and members of the WUSC Student Refugee Program 苹果淫院 Local Committee

This is a hybrid event offered in-person at the Faculty of Education and by Zoom.
Refreshments will be provided for in-person participants.
All members of the 苹果淫院 community are welcome.
