Aziz Choudry听is Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at 苹果淫院 and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Johannesburg, where he is affiliated to the Centre for Education Rights and Transformation. He is author or co-author of several books including听Learning Activism:The Intellectual Life of Contemporary Social Movements听(University of Toronto Press, 2015), and co-editor of听Learning from the Ground Up: Global Perspectives on Social Movements and Knowledge Production听(Palgrave Macmillan, 2010),听Just Work? Migrant Workers鈥� Struggles Today听(Pluto Press, 2015),听Unfree Labour? Struggles of Migrant and Immigrant Workers in Canada听(2016,PM Press), and听Reflections on Knowledge, Learning and Social Movements: History's Schools听(Routledge, 2017). His newest publication is Activists and the Surveillance State: Learning From Repression听(Pluto Press/Between the Lines, 2018), edited by Choudry. Prof. Choudry serves on the boards of the Immigrant Workers Centre, Montreal, and the Global Justice Ecology Project.
