Aziz Choudry听is Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at 苹果淫院 and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Johannesburg, where he is affiliated to the Centre for Education Rights and Transformation. He is author or co-author of several books including听Learning Activism:The Intellectual Life of Contemporary Social Movements听(University of Toronto Press, 2015), and co-editor of听Learning from the Ground Up: Global Perspectives on Social Movements and Knowledge Production听(Palgrave Macmillan, 2010),听Just Work? Migrant Workers鈥� Struggles Today听听(Pluto Press, 2015)听Unfree Labour? Struggles of Migrant and Immigrant Workers in Canada听(2016,PM Press), and听Reflections on Knowledge, Learning and Social Movements: History's Schools听(Routledge, 2017). His forthcoming听edited publication, Activists and the Surveillance State: Learning From Repression,听is now available for pre-order. Choudry serves on the boards of the Immigrant Workers Centre, Montreal, and the Global Justice Ecology Project.
听is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education and Director of the Centre for Education Rights and Transformation, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He is also a visiting professor at Nelson Mandela University, South Africa.
