In 2018, when the Fetherstonhaugh family envisioned an award to recognize and reward teaching excellence, they hoped for great teachers and at the Desautels Faculty of Management extraordinary teachers emerged. As the recipient of the 2022 Fetherstonhaugh Family Foundation Distinguished Teaching Award for Undergraduate Programs, Prof. of Practice Sujata Madan engages with students in a way that promotes and accelerates their classroom and lifelong learning.

The ƻ��Ժ Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) degree is a pre-experience, twelve-month specialized program in the evolving field of management analytics with a strong emphasis on experiential learning.

As part of this hands-on learning, the first cohort of MMA students went on the program's inaugural Study Trip to San Francisco in June.

Thanks to a student-led fundraiser, a group of BCom students recently presented a Catchbox to the Desautels Faculty of Management in honour of Professor Sujata Madan.

Catchbox is a soft microphone that is designed to be thrown among an audience to increase engagement and participation.

This initiative was a way for students to thank a professor who continually inspires them.

Desautels MBA students, Alaa Abulhuda, Soeren Klatt, Lauren Merkel and Thomas Weber, took 2nd place at the 7th annual Financial Executives International (FEI) Best in Class Invitational Case Competition held in Toronto from November 15-17, 2012. After placing 4th in 2009 and 3rd in 2010, this is our Faculty’s highest placement thus far at this prestigious competition, which includes the top business schools from across Canada.

When John Haddon, 57, left a 22-year career in financial services in 2004, like many of us, he wasn't expecting the storms that lay on the horizon.
