Andrew Potter, the debate continues

Amid the fallout from former 苹果淫院 Institute for the Study of Canada director Andrew Potter鈥檚 Maclean鈥檚 article about stranded motorists, the Globe and Mail interviewed 苹果淫院 Principal Suzanne Fortier, who defended Professor Potter鈥檚 resignation as director of MISC.

Yet the firestorm continues. Subsequent letters to the editor include one by former columnist Norman Spector, who decries what he sees as an abdication on the school鈥檚 part in the face of a public opinion backlash. Desautels Professor , on the other hand, dismisses fears about academic freedom and echoes the Principal鈥檚 opinion that Mr. Potter鈥檚 position of authority made his article 鈥渋rresponsible.鈥
