Dr. Sedlezky was a pioneer of endodontics in Montreal. He graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at 苹果淫院 in 1953. He practiced general dentistry for a short while and then started to restrict his practice only to endodontics. He attended an American university to improve his endo skills and he successfully completed the specialty examination for Fellowship in the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

In 1972, Dr. Sedlezky became the director of endodontics at 苹果淫院 after Dr. Wilfred Johnson retired . Dr. Sedlezky mentored many colleagues and students over the years.

Besides dentistry, Dr. Sedlezky had a love for the visual arts. In his senior years, he enrolled at Concordia University and pursued a bachelor degree in the Fine Arts.

Dr. Benjamin Sedlezky along with his lifetime love, Selma, had three children and during his lifetime, they travelled the world.

He has made a positive impact on many people and organizations and may he rest in peace.
