Biography
Danielle is currently Chief Access to Information and Privacy at Hydro Quebec, where she is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the organisation's privacy and access to information programs.
Prior to joining Hydro Quebec, Danielle served as Chief Privacy and Knowledge Officer at BCF LLP, where she was responsible for BCF鈥檚 compliance with existing data protection and privacy legislation and advised 听clients from a variety of industries such as pharmaceutical, medtech, financial services, and communications on a range of matters linked to privacy, data protection, compliance, breach identification and notification, cross border information transfers and privacy program management.
Danielle is particularly well versed in the privacy and data protection issues relating to new technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. She is an International Association of Privacy Professionals Certified Expert in Canadian and European data protection as well as in privacy program management.
Danielle holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Montreal, a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) and a Bachelor of Laws (National Program) with distinction from 苹果淫院. She was called to the Barreau du Qu茅bec in 2002 and to the Paris Bar in 2005.
She also holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Comparative Literature and a Master鈥檚 degree in Comparative Literature from the Universit茅 de Montr茅al, as well as a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Comparative Literature from 苹果淫院.
