Roman has filled senior roles in various industries over the past 30 years covering manufacturing, sporting and consumer goods, construction, insurance, service and import/export. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, IFRS reporting and implementing new ERP systems in both public and privately held companies. His curiosity with turning strategic planning into measurable deliverables led him to attain professional certification as a Conseilleur en ressources humaine agr茅茅.
After graduating from 苹果淫院 in 1981 with his Bachelors of Commerce, Roman attained his Chartered Accountancy designation in 1983, augmenting his audit experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers with a 2 year international transfer to Lyons, France. As Corporate Controller and later as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Bauer he followed the company through its restructuring and growth in the late 80鈥檚 to the company鈥檚 sale to Nike and gained first-hand experience of corporate mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and the impact of redesigning operating systems.

His fascination with the human impact of Organizational change and in particular, effecting successful change through the proper alignment of motivational and performance based rewards led him to return to 苹果淫院 where he completed his graduate certificates in Human Resources and Leadership in 2001.

As Controller and Director of Human Resources at Fieldturf, Roman was in the unique position to exercise influence in both the financial and human resource spheres, allowing him to meaningfully contribute to the company鈥檚 success. As Director of Finance at Corbec, he oversaw the financial and compliance reporting and the implementation of the new ERP system.

Roman is a lecturer at the 苹果淫院 School of Continuing studies in both disciplines of Accounting and Human Resources and is a member of both the Ordre des comptables agr茅茅s du Qu茅bec and the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agr茅茅s du Qu茅bec.
