Great business writers understand their audiences, write clear and error-free听texts听that get the message across with impact, and structure information in the听right听tone and style to achieve听their听specific business objectives, whether听gaining听buy-in from a supervisor on a new project or winning over a new client.听听

However,听this听can be听especially challenging if the language you鈥檙e writing in is not your mother tongue.听So how听can you develop the skills and intuition听needed听to understand your audience; find听the听right听words, style and听tone;听and avoid errors听so听that听your writing achieves its aim?听

Join us on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. for听Writing Like A Pro, a free听bilingual听online info session听in which we鈥檒l explore听the keys to learning how to write well in English or French when it鈥檚 your second, third or fourth language.听

Led by听our Program听Coordinators听and language instructors听Lisa Simpson and Isabelle听Aubouy,听during this session, we鈥檒l explore听the following areas:听

• Why writing in business听is听so important听
• What makes business writing challenging for non-native speakers听
• 5听keys to effective writing听in the workplace听
• 5听skills to听being听great at听workplace听writing听

Then, for those who are interested, we鈥檒l dive into 苹果淫院鈥檚 Online Programs for Written English and Written French in the workplace to discuss听how these unique programs can help you take your written French or English to the next level, give you more confidence, and enhance your work performance and career.听听
