The new Graduate Certificate in Advanced Business Management focuses on core subjects such as business intelligence and analytics, contemporary finance, and strategic management. In addition, this program offers participants the choice of complementary courses such as Information System for Managers, Applied Statistics for Managers, and Communication Skills.

This program also includes a course in Agile Project Management, in line with the current demand by the industry to lead projects using the Agile approach versus the traditional project methodology. By learning this new approach, learners will be equipped to improve project delivery, reduce risk and improve quality when dealing with an undefined project, and ever-changing requirements.

The main profiles targeted by this program are early and mid-career professionals with an undergraduate degree (in any discipline) who have either obtained Graduate Certificate in Business Management or have had at least two years of work experience in related field and want further their career in management at a large corporation, a private company, a small business, a financial institution, a government agency, or a public institution.

The Graduate Certi铿乧ate in Advanced Business Management has been designed for in-person delivery, a process that 苹果淫院 SCS believes provides comprehensive and rewarding classroom experience, complimented by extensive interaction with faculty and practitioners in various 铿乪lds of management. This program will be delivered at the downtown campus of 苹果淫院 during the evenings from Monday to Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.

1. Applicants must hold a bachelor鈥檚 degree from an approved university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.2/4.0 in the last two years of full-time academic studies.

   * If your CGPA is lower than the above requirement, please submit the following for consideration with your application and official transcript.

   a) Letter of Intent: A letter, one to two pages in length, single-spaced, written in English or French, which addresses the following:

   • basis for interest in the program;
   • your knowledge that would be pertinent to the program;
   • your interest in the field of study and the reasons for applying to our program;
   • plans for integrating the training into your current or future career;
   • a description of your professional experience and its relevance, if applicable, to the program;
   • awards received or other contributions;
   • any additional information relevant to your application.

   b) Curriculum Vitae

   c) Two Letters of Reference:听At least one should be from a current or former employer.

2. In addition, applicants must have successfully completed the 苹果淫院 Graduate Certificate in Business Management
   
   OR
   
   Have a minimum of two years of recent, relevant work experience and include a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, and two reference letters with their application.
   
   Work experience is not required from applicants who have a bachelor's degree in Commerce or related fields.
3. Applicants must provide proof of English Language proficiency.

Established in 2017 by the Area Coordinator and a group of lecturers in the General Management, International Business and Entrepreneurship Area in the School of Continuing Studies for one or more undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Entrepreneurship, Business Management, or International Business programs. Awarded by the School of Continuing Studies on the basis of academic merit or on the basis of demonstrated financial need and good academic standing.
