Inaugural seminar of the Department

On September 20th, 2023, the Department of Global and Public Health held its inaugural seminar. We welcomed Dr. Louise Pilote for a talk titled Sex and Gender Determinants of Vascular Disease in the Global Context. Dr. Lencucha wins prestigious prize for Global Health

Dr. Madhukar Pai honoured as influential alumnus by UC Berkeley

In celebration of the 75^th anniversary of the University of California, Berkeley’s (UCB) School of Public Health (SPH), the School compiled a list of their 75 most influential alumni. Included among the impressive list of luminaries was Dr. Madhukar Pai, Director of ƻ��Ժ Global Health Programs. On April 21, Dr. Pai traveled to Berkeley to formally accept this honour as part of the official celebrations.

Let's talk TB!

ƻ��Ժ Global Health Programs Director Madhu Pai is editor of a unique collection of papers printed as a supplement to GP Clinics. This supplement is an effort to engage and educate GPs and private practitioners and to share with them the current best practices on TB diagnosis and treatment. The book is accompanied by an interactive web platform where practioners can test their TB knowledge and find additional resources to update their practice.
