From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Yaw Nyampong named Executive Director of Centre for Research in Air & Space Law

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Dr. Yaw Nyampong has been named Executive Director of the Centre for Research in Air & Space Law.

Yaw Nyampong (LLM’05, DCL’11) is also a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ghana, Legon. He held an Arsenault Postdoctoral Fellowship at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº's Institute of Air & Space Law in 2011-2012, and a Boulton Fellowship at the Faculty of Law in 2012-2013.

Founded in 1976 by Dr. Nicolas Matte, the Center for Research in Air & Space Law performs multidisciplinary research on technical, economic, policy and legal implications of a variety of aviation and aerospace issues. It also publishes books and other literature, and sponsors conferences around the world.

As its Executive Director, Dr. Nyampong will be in charge of overseeing the Centre's many programs.
