Stingers sting Martlet ruggers

STE. ANNE DE BELLEVUE 鈥� Vanessa Grillo of Kirkland, and Jennifer
Rosenbaum of Port Hope, Ont., each scored tries and Jackie Tittley
added a penalty goal as Concordia upset 苹果淫院 13-5 in a women鈥檚
rugby league semifinal at McEwen Field, Sunday.
Amanda Henderson, an arts sophomore from Toronto, scored the lone
Martlets try.
鈥淲e rallied in the second half but is was a case of tick-tock,
tick-tock鈥� we just ran out of time,鈥� said Vince deGrandpr茅, head
coach of the Martlets. 鈥淭he future bodes well though, as we expect
to lose only three graduating players.
