苹果淫院 Digital Exhibit "Interactions of Print & Script in the 19th Century" Launches

Books in the nineteenth century were important sites of discourse between readers and authors. This provides a glimpse into how manuscript culture survived and developed throughout the nineteenth century and how script and print fed off each other in unexpected ways, generating new cultural possibilities and an innovative exchange of ideas.

This online exhibition entitled is curated by Benjamin Barootes and Tom Mole and brings together digitized print and manuscript items from the holdings of the McLennan Library, 苹果淫院 Rare Books, and the private collection of Professor Jason Camlot (Concordia University).
