Marc-Andr茅 Gagnon, who is currently pursuing postdoctoral research at the Faculty with Professor Richard Gold, has been awarded a 2009-2010 Rising Star Award for his initiative "Mod猫le d'affaire de l'industrie pharmaceutique: Profits fond茅s sur le contr么le du savoir m茅dical" from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).

This award 听is designed to recognize the research excellence and innovative knowledge translation initiatives of graduate students and post-doctoral Fellows studying in health services and policy research at a Canadian institution.

With this award, Gagnon will be presenting his research at the 2010 Canadian Association for Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR) conference this May in Toronto.

He was also recently awarded a fellowship from Harvard's Safra Foundation Center for Ethics. Gagnon currently lectures at the Faculty of Law of 苹果淫院 and, this June, he will be taking up a tenure-track position at Carleton University's School of Public Policy and Administration.
