At the CAFAs, glitz and glitterati are on parade

In some ways, it鈥檚 the party of the year. On April 7th, Canada鈥檚 biggest fashion names gathered in Toronto for the fourth Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards. The event was heavy on pizzazz, from the pre-event cocktails to the after-dinner party. The guest list was a who鈥檚 who of Canada鈥檚 glitterati, from Erdem Moralioglu to David Dixon.
Before the festivities got underway, the Globe and Mail and Hudson鈥檚 Bay Company hosted a breakfast panel, where Globe fashion editor Odessa Paloma Parker chatted with Hudson鈥檚 Bay president Liz Rodbell and Business of Fashion CEO Imran Amed (BCom'97), where they explored the realities of doing business in today鈥檚 evolving retail space.
