From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to Æ»¹ûÒùÔº students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

You are invited to join us for an informative talk by Peter McAuslan, Founder and former President of the McAuslan Brewing Company.

In 1988, Peter founded The McAuslan Brewing Company, a ground breaking and internationally respected small brewery that he led as president until the sale of the firm in 2013. He has served as President and Vice President of the Quebec Microbrewery Association and as a director of the Brewers Association of Canada. Peter also serves on the Faculty's Advisory Board.

Peter, along with his Brewmaster wife Ellen, received a Æ»¹ûÒùÔº Management Award in 2002. Peter was named a fellow of The Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies at Æ»¹ûÒùÔº in 2003. In 2004, he received the ‘Award of Distinction’ from the John Molson School of Business of Concordia University.In 2003, and 2012, Peter was awarded the Queen’s Jubilee medals. He was named Scotsman of the year by the Quebec Thistle council in 2001 and ‘Personality of the year’ in the category of Business and the Arts by the Conseil des Arts de Montréal and Le Devoir in 2008.
