CIRM, room 100, 3438, McTavish St., Montréal, QC, CA

As part of its first lunchtime seminar of the 2018-2019 academic year, CIRM receives French philosopher and writer (University Paris-Est Créteil). He recently publishedÌýwith Fabienne BrugèreÌý, a monograph on the notion of hospitality written in the midst of the dismantling of the Calais' "Jungle". If Guillaume le Blanc says he "saw the foreigner cease to be a host and become an enemy, a barbarian who must be removed and repelled", what about this notion of "hospitality" in Montréal?
