From the Classics to Pop Culture: An Evening with Daniel Mendelsohn
罢丑别听Friends of the 苹果淫院 Library聽are delighted to welcome聽, internationally bestselling critic, essayist, translator, and author of, among many others,聽The Lost: A Search for Six of Six Million听(2006);听An Odyssey: A Father, A Son, and An Epic听(2017);听Ecstasy and Terror: From the Greeks to Game of Thrones聽(2019); and聽Three Rings: A Tale of Exile, Narrative, and Fate听(2020).
The evening will feature a virtual conversation between Daniel Mendelsohn聽and Allan Hepburn, James 苹果淫院 Professor of Twentieth-Century Literature at 苹果淫院. Professor Hepburn's聽research focuses on the novel - British, American, Irish, Canadian. His areas of interest include聽twentieth-century fiction, contemporary literature, and聽aesthetics.
