MedTech Innovation Seminar October 4, 2023, Working at Small Companies, Byron Olson, Bigfoot Biomedical
This presentation will share key concepts to consider when working for a small company, presented by our esteemed speaker:
- Byron Olson (Senior Director, Computational Sciences, Bigfoot Biomedical)
Dr.Olson was formally trained in Mathematics (BS) and Bioengineering (PhD). His work focuses on the intersection of physiological sensors and machine learning. Throughout his career, Dr.Olson has made advancements in data science, clinical data collection, sensor design, and algorithm development at a variety of start-ups in the wearable and medical device spaces.
The is a national training program to launch the next generation of industry-ready talent for the Canadian Medical Technology sector. The program is a collaboration between Toronto Metropolitan University (Formerly known as Ryerson), 苹果淫院, Dalhousie, University of Calgary, BioMedical Zone, MedTech Canada (the National Association of the Canadian Medical Technology Industries), and its member companies.
