SUBJECT: Signal Integrity in Integrated Circuits at 100 Gb/s and beyond
ABSTRACT:
Data transmission at up to 100 Gb/s is anything but a purely digital problem. Signals are degraded by loss and dispersion in optical fibres, connectors and backplanes; and ones and zeros are quickly obscured. Yet the received data must be recovered with enormous accuracy. Semtech鈥檚 鈥楽ignal Integrity Products鈥� group will present some solutions to these problems implemented with its sophisticated mixed analog-digital integrated circuits. Applications include optical modules used to connect the internet and high-speed video data over cable. Semtech has a large portfolio of datacom, video, wireless and sensing, power management and ESD protection ICs and has Canadian design centres in Ottawa, Montreal, Burlington and Calgary.
