Evercore Houston Virtual Sophomore Diversity Seminar –Investment Banking Simulation –December 2020

Evercore is hosting an invite-only Sophomore Diversity Seminar designed to provide highly motivated undergraduates with an inside look into investment banking in the Energy sector through a real-life simulation. We are seeking intelligent, ambitious sophomores with the desire to learn about working in finance and the Oil & Gas industry.

The Diversity Seminar will be held on Zoom, and will include a 2.5 hour Investment Banking Simulation, followed by an analyst panel and networking with Evercore representatives from the Houston office. This half-day educational event will offer you background on the industry, Evercore, and our Advisory Summer Analyst Program, which we hope you will consider in your junior year (Summer 2022). The event will be held on Friday, December 11th2020.

This is a unique opportunity to meet Evercore representatives and gain the necessary tools to make an informed decision about your future internship & career experiences.

Qualifications:
–Undergraduate –Sophomore
–3.3 or higher GPA
–Interest in finance and energy (e.g., relevant coursework, work experience, activities)
–Demonstrated leadership activities

In order to be considered, please send a brief cover letter and resume to the Houston Sophomore Diversity Seminar posting on Evercore’s website by Sunday, November 22, 2020.
If selected for this invite-only event, you will receive a confirmation the week of November 30th containing all relevant logistical information, such as the Zoom link and agenda.
The event will be held on Friday, December 11th 2020.
